Small Swedish Bitters are a combination of herbs originally put together by a Swedish physician, Dr Samst, a rector of medicine who reputedly lived to the grand old age of one hundred and four years.
They were subsequently extensively used, with apparent good effect, by the well known Austrian Herbalist Maria Treben, to treat a wide variety of ailments.
